Eyestil SYNFO

EYESTIL SYNFO, thanks to its components, protects, hydrates and lubricates the ocular surface. It is indicated in all cases of eye discomfort and ocular dryness caused, for example, by:

• Dry eye syndrome;
• Ocular surgery;
• Allergic reaction;
• Chronic use of topical medicinal products (i.e. ocular hypotonizing agents, eye drops with preservative, etc.);
• Use of systemic medicinal products (i.e. Hormone Replacement Therapy, anti-hypertensives, antidepressants, antihistamines, etc.);
• Menopause;
• Aging;
• Environmental stress (pollution, air conditioning, smoke, wind, etc.);
• Prolonged use of electronic devices (computer, tablet, smartphone);
• Use of contact lenses.

The product is preservative-free, therefore it may be used also by contact lenses wearers.

EYESTIL SYNFO is a sterile ophthalmic solution intended to be used by users with eye discomfort, irritation or dryness due to quali-quantitative alterations of the lachrymal film or caused by environmental factors, use of computer monitors or use of contact lenses.

Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, xanthan gum 0.2%, glycine 0.1%, betaine 0.25%, Tris-HCl buffer, Sodium Chloride, Purified water.
Preservative-free.
Phosphate-free.

EYESTIL SYNFO contains two natural polymers, sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum with lubricating, moisturizing and muco-mimetics properties. The re-epithelising and antioxidant activities of both components are increased by their synergistic action.
EYESTIL SYNFO contains also glycine and betaine, substances with osmoprotective action that promote the maintenance of cellular homeostasis which is normally altered in case of ocular dryness. Glycine and Betaine play a role in the remodelling phase of the ocular epithelium during the wound healing process, acting as osmoprotectors in cells exposed to hyperosmotic stress.
Due to the combination of sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum and osmoprotectors, EYESTIL SYNFO hydrates, lubricates and repairs the ocular surface, contributing to restore its homeostasis and protecting it from the oxidative damage.

EYESTIL SYNFO also guarantees a feeling of long-lasting relief and maximum comfort during the period of use of the product.

Instil 1 drop of EYESTIL SYNFO four times a day in the conjunctival sac or as needed.

Wash/sanitize your hands carefully before use.

1. Make sure that the protection cap is intact before use.
2. Before the first use, remove the safety seal of the protection cap by pulling the edge of the tab counter clockwise.
   
3. Remove the protection cap by pulling it upwards.
   
   Do not exert any pressure on the bottle before removing the protective cap and having turned the bottle upside down for administration. This would lead to irreversible deformation of the bottle.
4. Reverse the bottle and instil 1 drop of EYESTIL SYNFO in each eye by exerting a slight pressure on the bottle itself, taking care not to touch the eye, the eyelid or any other surface with the tip of the bottle. In this way any contamination can be avoided.
   
   Due to the intrinsic characteristics of the bottle with dispenser for preservative-free solutions, as the product is gradually used, it may be necessary to exert a greater pressure to allow the drops to flow out.
5. Shake the bottle down to eliminate any residual solution present on the tip of the dropper.
   
6. Close the bottle with the protection cap immediately after use.
   

Remember to write down on the carton box the date of first opening of the bottle.
The product must be used within 6 months after first opening of the bottle.

Hypersensitivity to one of the components.

Do not use EYESTIL SYNFO if the container is opened or damaged.

During application, ensure that the tip of the bottle does not come into contact with the eye or eyelids or any other surface.
Do not store above 25 °C.
Do not use EYESTIL SYNFO after the expiry date.
Do not dispose the product in the environment after use. For the correct disposal of the product, please follow the national or local regulations.
The administration of EYESTIL SYNFO to children or people with limited abilities should be supervised by a responsible adult.

Product interactions with the administration of other drugs for ophthalmic use are unknown; therefore, it is advised not to use other medicinal products or medical device for ophthalmic use within 10 minutes from the administration of EYESTIL SYNFO.

It is not necessary to remove the contact lenses before the administration of EYESTIL SYNFO since the product does not alter the physical characteristics, including the transparency, of the most common soft, semirigid and rigid contact lenses.

The use of the product may occasionally cause mild burning or irritation.
Should any of the above-mentioned reactions occur, discontinue the use of this product.
